Hey boys and girls, I’m back again, after quite a long absence. I apologize for my delay, but, I figure, if you have a problem with it, screw you. So, lets get down to business. I’m going to be reviewing the game Arc The Lad, Twilight Of The Spirits. Yes, it came out about a year ago, but its still a very good game. If I were you, I’d at least look into it. There’s actually two different games here…..technically. When it all begins, you’re a human named Kharg. You’ve lived in Yewbell your entire life. You’ve been training with a sword for quite a while, and you finally think you’re up to joining the corps. Just as you join, a group of creatures called Deimos attack. I’m not going to ruin any of the game’s plot, so I’m just going to continue on to the next part of the game. The game is split into 12 different chapters. Each chapter switches characters. Once you’ve completed Kharg’s first chapter, you’re flung into a new world. You find that you’re now a Deimos named Darc. You alternate between these two sets of characters throughout the entire game. In each set, you team up with four other companions. In Kharg’s team, you have Kharg, Maru, Ganz, Tatjana, and I think the last one is named Charlene(if not Charlene, then its something along those lines.). On the Deimos side, you have Darc, Delma, Bebedora, Camellia, and Volk. Each side faces different trials. The humans believe that the Deimos are simply a plague upon mankind, whereas Deimos believe that humans are a lesser species that should serve them. You come to find that there was once a Deimos and a human that loved each other, but they were shunned from both of their homelands for loving the other kind. As it turns out, these two had a pair of twins. Two boys. They were both half Deimos, but one looked human more than anything. I know, I said I wouldn’t spoil the plot of the game, but I couldn’t help myself. During the game, you fight many challenges, but it seems that both the Deimos and the humans have the same goal for a while: To destroy the Dilzweld army. Eventually, your two teams will run into each other, then the moment of truth. You must choose which side you want to fight on. You can choose the Deimos and work to annihilate all humans, or you can go with the humans and work to wipe out all Deimos. And now, for the battle sequence. If you like Quest 64, you’ll love this. There is a certain amount of space you can move per turn, and theres a certain range for your attacks. There are many different attacks and special moves you can use, and if two people are in range of the same target, and one of them has their special up, they will automatically use a paired attack. All in all, on a scale from 1 to 10, I’d give this game an 8. There are many challenges to go through, and it should take quite a while to finish them all. I’ve still yet to beat the game, and I already have over 30 hours on it! Seriously, it’s a long game, but well worth the time. So, if you like games like Quest 64, check this game out, you’ll love it. Well, that’s it for me. If you got the time, get it, it’s a great game, seriously. I can’t stress this enough, you’ve got to try this game! Well, I got to go, schools almost out. I’ll try not to disappear for so long again this time. Well, that’s it for me. Peace out and about. Till’ next time. This is Sage saying, Play on!
I can't believe you guys missed it. Sage was Site B's first critic. He did a good job.
